The hard part is over! :: VA Portrait & Wedding Photographer

So this morning came and went. It was definately just as hard as I thought it would be.

We walked to the bus stop, it was little ways up the road. I think it was a good way to spend time together before hand.

This look just really twisted my heart. Almost as if to say, is it okay to go mommy? I screamed no, don’t go. But the words didnt come out. I really ended up saying, “Go ahead Ky, get on the bus!”

As my little girl peered out the window at me, I really began to realize just how little she is. How could she possibly be big enough for this?

I really wish I would have gotten a shot of the bus driving away, but it took so much effort to hold it together before she drove off. By the time the bus rounded the corner I lost it. My little girl was riding off and that big ol bus took her!

The bright side now is, the hard part is over!! I will go and get her from the bus stop in just a little bit and get to find out how exciting her first day of school was!!

Kathy Prescott - Well my goodness! You are right…I just cried seeing her all grown up getting on that bus with the backpack I bought. I just can’t believe it! I am so very glad she didn’t cry and beg to stay home with you! That would have been really hard. She is such a good little girl if you really think about it. She is a really loving and good girl who only wants to be like her mommy! Tell her Nannie loves her with all her heart and I will see you all tomorrow. Kiss my babies. Love you Rachel!
