Bannana fannana fo faby fe fi fo maby… BABBBBBY! I love babies. Seriously – they are just so tiny and beautiful and wondrous. A pure miracle from God. I just wanted to hold her all day long, but I did the next best thing – which was capture her for her sweet parents to cherish for all time to come.

When I made the decision to try a different approach to my photography, I had no idea what would be in store for me. I had been thinking alot about photography, and what it could and should mean to my clients. Of course a cute baby wrapped up in one of my knitted props is super cute. But imagine how much more meaningful a baby wrapped up in a blanket knitted by grandma could be. Or wearing mommy’s booties from when she was a baby. I am on a mission to put more meaning into my images. To capture the life of this tiny person, their tiny features, and everything that is meaningful to their family.

I went to visit little miss Mack in the hospital. It is such a memorable time with all of their bracelets and bandaids, cord and all. They truly are newborn. So cuddly! She really was like a little peanut. I always like to take some time and hold the baby, but since her parents are friends of mine… I really cherished some cuddle time with this little sweetie!

Meet Lainey, aka little nibbler! This cutie pie refused to get her belly full and fall into a deep sleep! She prefers to nibble quite often, so not the typical sleepy newborn shots, but still absolutely adorable!!

This was my second time getting to capture this little man, and I was so excited! His head full of hair just is so adorable, hard to resist!!

I just love how simplistically beautiful these black and whites are. Nothing is detracting from how gorgeous this baby is! I am deeply in love with black and whites!

This little angel was born a little over 4 weeks ago! She was so sweet and cuddly, I think I might have spent a bit more time holding her than actually snapping photos!
