Back in September, our beloved SVT Focus got totaled. That car has been here with us through everything! I remember driving around in it while Justin was in Iraq with JJS W1FE on the tags. I was so proud.
It was the first car Kylie ever rode in. We really loved that car. Some people don’t know, but I am a car girl. I love cars, FAST cars. While the Focus wasn’t an extremely fast car, it was a zippy little fun thing to drive. Justin and I spent many a nights at the track in North Carolina back in the day. As a matter of fact I have a trophy for bracket racing, I’m quick and consistent with my lights!
So we were definitely saddened to find out that the insurance company had totaled the car. The car really doesn’t look that bad, but the total dollar amount to fix it was too close to what the car was worth. But Justin & I soon learned that we would be okay with what had happened. Justin had been searching craigslist for used cars and was emailing me some of the cars he had come across. He sent me the Evo as kind of a joke. But after thinking long and hard about it, I told him if that’s what he wanted to jump on it! So we did! And we are in LOVE with it. The car is SO much fun. We look forward to taking this baby to the track!!
