A few months ago I met the amazing and talented Korie Lynn her work seriously stood out to me, and the more I saw the more I LOVED. I would change one thing here, and another there. Fast forward to last week and I found myself in the most uncomfortable situation ever. Not only had I hurt myself, but I had hurt my friend. I had taken her identity. Something she had worked SO hard at. You have no idea how hard it was to look at what I had done – and not feel like a complete pile of poo. There was me in my work no doubt – but there was too much Korie there. She had inspired me to no end – and to the point where I lost Rachel. I have spent the last week … away from blogs… away from reading about others – and centered on myself. Thinking about what I love. Who I AM, Rachel in the raw. And it’s SO perfect for my new brand coming.

I am pretty, I am feminine, I am soft, I am real, I am dreamy.

This post goes out to all of those out there in this creative business searching for their identity. Stop looking at others, and look within. Because within is the most beautiful thing you have ever seen.

6 years later, she is still such a sweet little girl…. with her moments. Beautiful and tender hearted.

And yes – she loves pink…. and yes it’s all my fault. I dressed her in all pink for the better half of her life and now she just does it on her own.

He is still my best friend, he is all that makes my heart beat, all that makes me laugh, all that makes me happy.

She is cuddly, so cuddly. Every time I see her little smiling face I just want to scoop her up and squeeze her.

The day they are too old to pick mommy flowers, will be a sad sad day – but for now I will enjoy every moment of it.

I decided to dress buddy man up in the suit jacket and t-shirt idea from the last Trendy Tuesday – Loved it. And of course I had to give him a mohawk!

Give him a stick and he’s happy! lol Seriously – we don’t need toys.

He’s just so adorable – I could seriously just eat him up.

And then there was little Miss – Do not take my picture.

But I caught her having a good time anyway. I love the hair do.

I cut her hair for the very first time the week before last – and I am SO happy that it still curls up at the ends.

This swing normally has a line, but she got lucky this day as there was only 1 other kid there when we got there!

Once again trying to avoid me and the camera… But I’m faster than her. haha

Hope you guys had a great Easter, we certainly did! It was absolutely beautiful out, and we enjoyed every minute!
